Inspired by the magical image of the drawer in Katrina Palmer’s 365 Things, this drawer has both physical and historical connection to the performance and location of The Object Library. Following evidence on the label, this drawer came from the ‘back room’ shelf list, the call number order file librarians used to establish the library’s indexed contents. Reflecting shifts in form/content collected by the library, cards described microfilm, monographs, + film. Or perhaps I misunderstand.
